I loved reading this. I keep some of this info in my bullet journal but extensively track things digitally in Notion. This is making me want to do a dedicated reading journal next year!

I'm glad this is sparking some ideas for you, Chelsey! It's so fun (and helpful) to see what others do to make their reading engaging, meaningful, and delightful. Please keep me posted if you do set up a dedicated reading journal!

I also loved your ideas of reading "projects." I'd already planned to try to read the rest of Stephen King's books that I haven't read, and I love the idea of calling this a reading project and making a section for it in the bullet journal!

That's great to hear! I love a good project, especially when it can involve a bullet journal spread. :-) King is such a prolific author - do you know how many you've read and/or have left?

Love this....thanks! Many years ago I started something similar. By year, I list every book I've read. That's the first page of each year. Behind that are my thoughts about the book. And I dog-ear pages where I've read something that resonates. I then go back through the book and take the copy from the dog-eared page and put it into a word document. That document is now about 130,000 words (the length of a short book). It's of course in the cloud, and I refer to it constantly. It's a reminder of so much--not the least of which is an author who I might have read, liked, and forgotten about.

It's so interesting to hear how different people engage with and track their reading. Thank you for sharing your process! I love coming across a line I had jotted down from an impactful book and instantly being taken back to that reading experience.
