Book Club Details - July-December, 2025!
Reading guides, schedule details, alternative titles, and more for the Reading And Purpose Nonfiction Book Club! (And cast your votes soon for our 2026 lineup!)
We blinked and it’s mid-year; we’ll blink again and discover we’re wrapping up 2025! Fortunately here at Reading And Purpose we have excellent books, an inspiring community, and wonderful, forward-moving discussions to see us through. A huge thank you to all of our Reading And Purpose Nonfiction Book Club members for a fantastic start to our year!
Below are all the book club details - dates, chapter breakdowns, monthly themes, additional recommended titles, and more - for the second half of the year. From building community, to establishing healthy boundaries, to enhancing meaningful communication, to making a positive, purposeful difference in the world, our books address applicable and important topics, and we’ll continue learning and growing together in so many powerful ways.
Our next event is our July chat focusing on The Joy of Movement by Kelly McGonigal - which, to be honest, is about so much more than the title and cover might have you think. This was a transformational book for me in many ways and I can’t wait for us to discuss it!
A few quick book club reminders:
We welcome new members to the book club, which is an added benefit for all paid subscribers.
You can always fully participate in the discussion even if you didn’t get the book read.
You can choose to engage as little or as much as you’d like, whether you attend every discussion and event, or simply enjoy the reading guides and bonus tools/resources on your own.
Plans are well underway for our 2026 lineup and events, so if you choose the annual membership you’ll still experience a full year of book club! And members will soon be able to cast their votes for some of our 2026 picks, too.
On a side note, I’ve been encouraged to start a YouTube channel and/or podcast to discuss my monthly wrap-ups, review individual books in more detail, and of course chat with you all in the comment section. Let me know if this is something you’d enjoy!
The longer I am on this planet, the more I realize that one of the best things about reading is discussing what we read - hearing different perspectives and points of view, learning from others’ life experiences, and talking through ways we can make a meaningful, purposeful difference in the world. I am blessed to facilitate this Reading And Purpose book club and am beyond grateful for everyone involved - thank you!
