If you're sometimes a bit too hard on yourself, looking for a 2-minute way to bring more intention into your days, or simply seeking a use for that spare notebook, today's article is for you!
There is nothing silly or self-indulgent about your practice. Instead it seems to be self-compassion, embodied and translated on the page. For high achievers & perfectionists, this couldn’t be more important!
These are wonderful! And I love the addition of a photo a day. Isn't it incredible what a practice like this can do for your mindset? Thank you for sharing!
These are great! I'd like to try something like this for the month of July. I've gottne out of the daily journal habit, and I'd like to dive back in...
I love this journal practice. I feel like right now it’s best not look too far into the future and to take one day at a time and to acknowledge that today was a good day even if only “small” things were accomplished…those small things add up to a good life. Thanks for sharing this and I love the sticker!
"Those small things add up to a good life" - I love that, Karen! It rings so true and is just so important to remember. I bought the sticker years ago in an independent bookstore - such a random and funny find. :-) Thank you for sharing!
I've been putting this excited for/proud of questioninto regular practice this year thanks to you, but have fallen out of habit recently. Thanks for the reminder! And I have a birthday coming up next month and LOVE the idea of a reflection hike. Happy Birthday!
I love that you've been doing this too, Heather, and thank you so much for letting me know! Happy early Birthday to you as well - and if you go on a reflection hike, I hope you love it. It's been such a wonderful tradition for me!

What a beautiful way to put it, Christine - thank you! I appreciate this thoughtful perspective.
I too do this in a similar fashion digitally as I capture a photo a day. My headings are
Three Good Things
An Accomplishment
Something I Am Looking Forward to Tomorrow
What I Am Reading
Photo of the Day
It really changes your mindset
