Thank you for letting me know, Chelsey! I'm wondering if it will be a reading experience like Anthropocene Reviewed was - thinking it's maybe not for me and then absolutely loving it. :-) I appreciate your input!

I honestly had avoided Anthropocene for those reasons but now that I’ve read this other book, I’m going to give it a try!

And I now have Everything Is Tuberculosis on hold. Here's hoping his writing continues to speak to both of us!

Thanks for this list! I'm adding Awe and The Art of Possibility. I loved The Anthropocene Reviewed and Bad Vibes Only. If you haven't read it, I really love Joyful by Ingrid Fetell Lee.

Thank you for the suggestion, Heather - I've now added Joyful to my library list! The cover is super familiar so it has definitely been on my radar, but this is my prompt to read it. I hope you love the books you mentioned. I could just sit and stare at the cover of Awe - gorgeous!

The Connection Cure has piqued my interest. I have Human Kind downloaded on my Kindle that I haven’t read yet, but mine is by Brad Aronson. Thanks for sharing such an extensive list!

You're welcome, Amy, and thank YOU for sharing that book title - I just looked it up and immediately added it to my TBR, too! I hope you enjoy The Connection Cure if you get to it. Not only does she share wonderful stories from various people she met, her exploration of healthcare systems in different countries - and what's being discovered with those that are incorporating more social prescriptions into their processes - is fascinating!

Oh and you have to read George Takei’s graphic memoir. And also In Waves by AJ Dungo. Stunning.

I’ve read a few and own a few of these but so many more that are new to me! I just picked up another Sy Montgomery book about turtles! Nicely done!

Excellent - I hope you find some new winners in here! Montgomery is quite the prolific writer. I'd love to hear what you think about her turtle book when you get to it - I am hoping to get to her book about chickens soon, too. So much yet to learn, on so many subjects! :-)
